The Ingliston is now fast becoming one of my favourite venues. In the last year I've been 4 times and each time the staff have been so helpful and attentive and made the day go so smoothly. And on that note, it's time to show you Sarah and Aaron's wedding from June this year. It was such a hot June day with so many smiles and brilliant banter.
I started in the morning with Sarah in one of the cabins just a few minutes walk from the ceremony room, and she was ready to go and excited for her big moment. Special shout out to her little pug who made an appearance who was incredibly cheeky and adorable. I was lucky enough to get carted around by one of the Ingliston's staff carts to go back and forth to the groom and bride to avoid me from doing the long walk back and forth which saved me some valuable time!
Both Aaron and Sarah were completely laid back the entire day so nearly all the images were completely candid! So I hope you enjoy the images as much as I did taking them!
Thanks to Aaron and Sarah for having me and I wish you continued happiness!
This was my first time at the Brig O Doon which is now becoming one of the more popular wedding venues within west of Scotland and I can see why! The Brig O Doon is perched right in between 2 stone bridges with the clear waters of the River Doon flowing under - perfect for wedding photos.
I was with Lynne in the morning for bridal preparations and she couldn't stop smiling. Then with the groom Mark, I caught him just when he was about to have his (last) shave before the wedding.
The weather at Brig O Doon was so perfect - just the right amount of sun and clouds for our formal photos - until...a monsoon happened. BUT it was fine, as we had just wrapped up photos just in time for dinner. We went outside for a couple more after dinner before the dancing commenced for the evening and before I knew it - we were all done!
Everyone was amazing and such a joy to work with that day.
Thank you to Lynne and Mark for having me as their photographer!

Marianne and Paul // St Mary Immaculate, Shawlands + Crossbasket Castle, 6th of July 2017.
Alright, let’s start the first blog off with one of my fav weddings from last year.
First off I saw Paul at his childhood home where I took some lovely shots of the groomsmen and Paul’s family. It was only a quick stop as 10 minutes later I was soon heading off to Marianne’s home to take some shots before they left for the church and already she was ready in her beautiful gown with her bridesmaids.
The next stop was at the Church where it was all happening at St Mary’s Immaculate in Shawlands conducted by the very funny Father John Carroll.
The last stop of the day for the reception was at the newly renovated Crossbasket Castle in East Kilbride. A beautiful and grand building that you could get lost in - it’s that big!
A beautiful day in summer that was unforgettable.
