Who doesn't love a bit of dark, dreamy wedding? Throw the rule book out the window and do something that's a little bit memorable that isn't the usual 'white wedding.' That's what Jaid and Damien did. They messaged a couple of months ago to ask if I'd be interested in doing a post-wedding photo shoot in the infamous Necropolis in Glasgow. The newlyweds got married in front of their family and friends the day prior and then headed to the city for a wee hotel stay and photoshoot.
It's definitely something I haven't shot before and it's always such a thrill to try something new. Shoots like these always get a reaction - so why not elope and do something just like they did? Get in touch and enquire about my 'Wee Wedding' package. Perfect for couples who just want to celebrate with their close ones and have the photoshoot afterwards.
Lesley and Craig got in touch about 2 years ago for their wedding at the wonderful St Lukes in Glasgow and from the initial chat it was clear they just wanted to have a good ol' party and St Lukes is a perfect place to have it. For some weird coincidence I was there twice in one week so I certainly felt like I was a part of the furniture.
Apart from the couple, the absolute star of the show was their wee dog, Pippa - clearly a natural in front of the camera and awfully hard to get a photo of as they were as fast as a whippet.
As far as city weddings, you couldn't have had a more perfect day than this one. Sun, drinks, and the interesting characters from around our city all watching on. Have a wee look at their day below:
