29 July 2022 was the best day in Susanne's life. The new Beyonce album came out. The day before that she got married! (Her words, not mine. Although Cuff It is a bop).
Susanne and Craig were originally going to get married 2 years prior but due to that big idiot called COVID ruining all our plans, it got rescheduled. And it was well worth the wait! Having been to many, many gigs at the Studio Warehouse, I did wonder how it would work for a wedding. I mean, it is what it's called - a warehouse! But wow, what a place to get married! Despite the rain, we were spoiled for choice for where to go to inside for photos.
The day was set up beautifully by wedding planning team, Fin Flukra. Cat and her team had everything organised to a Tee and made the day go smoothly. Every wedding should have a Fin Flukra!
Celebrant Rachel - who I seem to run into at weddings about 4 times a month, was the one to conduct the ceremony and tell us all about Craig and Susanne's love story. Susanne's bestie, Emily came up to read out a beautiful poem before crying and grabbing Susanne and telling her she was her favourite.
After the ceremony we managed to run up to the roof (the actual roof) of SWG3 and get some beautiful scenic shots of Glasgow as our backdrop. Despite the skies turning grey and the rain teasing us, we got some epic shots. You could see the whole of Glasgow, and my hoose all from the roof of the warehouse. It wasn't too long before we ran back downstairs for the beginning of the reception.
Susanne opened with the speeches for the day and NGL...I've heard maybe 300+ wedding speeches - mostly from the dudes - and I don't think they will ever top Susannes. Nae 'upper hand' jokes here.
The reception concluded with the first dance but the moment of the night has got to be Susanne dancing with her Dad to Bruce Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark. Courtnay Cox and Brucie eat your heart out.

Fruin Farm is a beautiful wedding venue located in the heart of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Scotland. The farm is a stunning countryside setting, by greenery and breathtaking views of Loch Lomond with it's main attraction being it's character, charm and adorable alpacas. This was my first time here and despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the couple's love shone through, and their wedding day was nothing short of magical.
Eilish got ready with her gal squad including her mum upstairs in the little secret rooms of the venue popping Prosecco and blasting the tunes. The vibe was very relaxed that morning and it didn’t feel like the unpredictable weather outside was going to dampen anyones spirits. I didn't have to give any direction at all as the gals partied when I took some candid shots in the background.
Eilish’s brother and grandad arrived just in time to greet her before heading across to the gorgeous barn which was all beautifully decorated for her arrival. The ceremony was conducted by the wonderfully charismatic Mark Reilly who gave a very personal ceremony for the couple, and detailing their amazing journey together.
As Eilish + Ross exchanged their vows, the raindrops fell gently outside the farm house, creating a romantic and intimate atmosphere. The lush greenery and stunning landscape of Fruin Farm provided the perfect backdrop for their special day
When the ceremony was over, the newly weds ran across with a brolly in hand to make sure they didn’t get wet. Despite the rain, the couple was determined to capture the beauty of their wedding day. As they posed for the camera, their love and joy were evident in every shot. The photographs captured the magic of the day, from the stunning scenery to the couple's beaming smiles.
Such a relaxed and fun couple with an amazing tribe of friends and family!
Take a look at this truly incredible pair! Nicole and Cammy tied the knot at the stunning Cornhill Castle, and we experienced a truly memorable day together. The weather was indecisive, with rain constantly threatening to make an appearance, but whenever the sun shone brightly, we couldn't resist venturing outside to embrace it.
Cornhill Castle is quickly rising in popularity and becoming one of my top favourite settings for capturing photograph and you can see why! There is an abundance of material available for us to work with there.
I had the pleasure of working alongside Luke Davis as my energetic second shooter, who brought not only enthusiasm but is a genuinely pleasant individual to be in the company of and bounce ideas from.
The guests made their grand entrance at the event, arriving in a beautifully preserved vintage bus that added an appealing touch of nostalgia to the special day.
Nicole prepared for the ceremony within the walls of the majestic castle, accompanied by her bridesmaids offering support and assistance. We captured some stunning photographs of Nicole, gracefully posing in her elegant wedding dress, within the historic tower of the majestic castle.
The nuptials took place in a spacious marquee situated just outside the castle grounds, providing an elegant ambiance for this special moment.
The happy couple greatly enjoyed their magical day and evening at Cornhill Castle. It was truly an honour to have yet another opportunity to photograph such a momentous occasion within its breathtaking surroundings.
